I find it hard to believe that it is withdrawal because of the small dose and only being on it for a few months. I have been on Effexor for about 18 months with steady increases. I also feel very sick to my stomach and nauseous. (Fun fact, I was, he suggested I go to HER for meds.) I feel colder than usual and very tired.
Anyway, her next big plan is to ween me off Effexor and put me on Wellbutrin. Usually, as your body get's used to the drug, some of the side effects go away as your body self balances out. I used to have a need to get up and walk outside but now I dont care. I just took my first dose @ 10 am.They just shouldn’t. I do feel it has made my anxiety slightly more manageable but I feel pretty meh. I am on venlafaxine, but the specific drug is pretty irrelevant, all the SSRI's are similar. I feel less anxious, but not really.
