Both the Strattera and the Lexapro can be used as anti-depressants and both can cause sedation. He seems less impulsive, happier, more relaxed, able to be himself.. My doctor suggested switching the time I took it around.

Is it worth keeping him on strattera another couple weeks w/lifeless, very tired effects will this go away?

But now, I'm working a full time job and want to establish a normal sleep schedule. now after reading even more posts, it seems even if i keep going another couple weeks, Strattera doesn't seem to allow the child to focus as well with school work. THANKS! And he's roughing it through football in this heat and drugged and tired. The drug works by making the prostate relax so it does not impinge upon the bladder.

That has seemed to help somewhat, but it has only been a couple of months since I have been on it. Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts But currently the 40 mg. knocks him out and he is so "drugged" I can't do that. i took strattera for a month and a half with no noticeable improvement and had to suffer from tiredness and baaad mood swings.
How long has your son been on it and did he have these side effects, if so how long until they went away? He just started full contact football and i don't want to have to give him an evening dose , this would make football practice even harder.
