I can't speak directly since I don't get anxious, but I've heard anecdotally that augmenting your regimen with 300-600mg L-Theanine helps to mellow out the anxiety. The alertness provided by modafinil only hyper focusses a person on what they are doing this can range from conversation to actual work. Unfortunately, Reishi doesn't also enhance myelination.I don't get how Modafinil could be overrated, everyone who tried it from my friends including me was like "oh my god this is ridiculous pill"To be more specific, my productivity goes way over the top and I do even sort of enjoy doing the thing it's not like "omfg I hate cleaning up dust, house, dishes or what ever other super boring task is well past deadline" it's more like "ye, let's do this so I can check those off and move on to other more important stuff" and day just keeps rolling.There is sort of fluidity to the day, everything just clicks for me and flows nicely.Modafinil and Kratom are best substances I tested to the date (well except Lucy ... but I guess I can't call it noot here even tho it seems like uber-noot to me)As for side-effects only one I get is that if I take it more days in a row like 3-4 I start to feel like I shouldn't be that awake at night and I would appreciate being more drowsy, which can be "solved" by L-Theanine or just not taking it more than 1-2 days in a row.Oh and I don't see how 1-1.25$ per 200mg (I use 100mg so like 0.5$) is expensive.New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be castPress J to jump to the feed. The modafinil will last much longer than the Xanax. There's actually more evidence that creatine improves intelligence than anything else. Take a lower dose, or avoid modafinil if it's causing that. Therefore if I become distracted whilst using I will be heavily focused on the distraction and this heavy focus often removes outside thoughts such as anxiety. It's a beta blocker so you won't have a change in emotions or anything.Also play around with the dose.
